In 2010 Grace Baptist Church of Warsaw came into existence as a church plant from Grace Fellowship Church in Bremen, IN. There was a group of believers in the Warsaw area who loved God's Word and the doctrines of grace taught in that Word. Starting in February, under the leadership of GFC in Bremen, we met in various homes for prayer and laying the foundation of a new church.
In May of 2010 we began meeting publicly for worship on Sunday evenings, while still worshiping at GFC in Bremen in the mornings. At that time we were called Grace Baptist Fellowship.
In order to better reach the Warsaw community and be more accessible to all, we made the decision to begin holding morning worship services. GFC voted to send Pastor Aaron Hoak full time to the church planting work in Warsaw, and in September of 2010 we began having both morning and evening services.
Since then through ups and downs, trials and joys, we have continued to experience the Lord's blessing on this body of believers. In September, 2013, we constituted as an independent work, no longer under GFC in Bremen. It was at that point we became Grace Baptist Church, where we continue to seek to worship and honor our triune God and reach our community with the good news of the gospel.
At the end of September of 2017 we moved from The Meeting Place where we met since our inception in 2010 to a building the Lord provided us at 2626 E. Jefferson Street.
